Jonathan m.c. johnston
After graduating from Stetson University College of Law in 2008, Jonathan started his legal career working at one of the largest workers’ compensation insurance defense firms in the state of Georgia. In 2011, Jonathan had seen enough, and wanted to stop helping insurance companies save money, and start helping injured workers get the benefits they deserve. Ever since then, he has devoted 100% of his practice to representing those injured on the job. Given his experience as a workers’ compensation insurance defense attorney, Jonathan undoubtedly has a unique advantage advocating for injured workers.
Jonathan founded Johnston Law Firm, LLC, to be a workers’ compensation-focused law firm, and he takes immense pride in helping those Georgians who have unfortunately been injured at work. He has spoken at multiple legal education seminars where he has taught other lawyers about workers’ compensation settlements, the most effective strategies in representing recently injured workers, and provided his insights regarding significant developments in Georgia workers’ compensation case law.
Jonathan lives in Savannah with his wife, Courtney, and their two wonderful yet frequently mischievous rescue dogs, Bonnie and Lucy. In Jonathan’s spare time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, cooking, and traveling.
